Celebrated my foster daughter’s birthday with the whole family with Captain Shrimp Petaling Jaya, and what an amazing experience! The food was absolutely on point. The grilled char chicken was the star for me, beautifully charred to perfection, yet incredibly tender and juicy inside. The Chicken Parmigiana Pasta was also so delicious, featuring tender chicken topped with two kinds of cheese. The lamb was cooked to a flawless doneness, exactly how my family and I love it. The beef enchiladas were incredibly zesty and saucy, and the corn tacos were fresh, crunchy, and delicious! On top of that, the delivery price was cheap compared to other provider in city , which was an amazing bonus for a big family order. Got a delivery order from Captain Shrimp Petaling Jaya for our office lunch and it did not disappoint at all! We ordered for the whole team and everything arrived on time, well-packed and still hot. Really appreciated how well they handled a bulk order. The Fried Shrimp was an instant hit, flavourful, well-seasoned and surprisingly still had a good crunch even after the delivery ride. Everyone was grabbing for more. The Beef Enchiladas were hearty and satisfying, packed with filling and covered in a rich, saucy topping that had the whole team going back for seconds. The Corn Shell Fish Taco was a clear favourite among the colleagues, the shell held up really well during delivery and the fish inside was fresh and nicely spiced. And the Creamy Appleslaw was the perfect refreshing side to balance out all the bold flavours : cool, tangy and so well made. What really stood out was how consistent the quality was across all the dishes. For a delivery order feeding an entire office, that is not easy to pull off. Even our boss, who is usually quite particular about food, was genuinely impressed and was complimenting the meal throughout lunch. That alone says a lot! Here is the breakdown: ​The Standouts ​Shrimp Pasta: Often, party pasta can get mushy or dry, but this was perfection. The shrimp were jumbo, snap-fresh, and seasoned beautifully. The sauce was light yet flavorful, clinging to the noodles without being greasy. ​Baked Wings: These are a game-changer for anyone tired of soggy, fried wings. They had a phenomenal crisp on the skin while remaining incredibly juicy on the inside. The spice rub had just the right amount of kick to keep people coming back for "just one more." ​Roasted Vegetables: You know the food is good when the guests are raving about the veggies! They were perfectly caramelized—not overcooked—bringing out a natural sweetness that paired beautifully with the savory mains. ​Mushroom Quesadillas: The "sleeper hit" of the night. I wouldI like to compliment the team for their delicious food and wide variety of south western and texmex,  every dish was well-prepared and thoroughly enjoyed by our guests. The drop off buffet setup, though simple, was proper, neat, and pleasantly presentable, which we truly appreciated. Their staff were friendly, professional, and very prompt throughout the event. A special shout-out to delivery guy (dont know his name) for his excellent service, efficient, and ensured the simple buffet was set up quickly and smoothly.
